Highfield House is in the Dartmoor National Park, half a mile from the centre of the picturesque village of Lustleigh, described as “FILM-SET-PERFECT” in the Daily Telegraph article on 14th January 2012. With a panoramic view across the Cleave to the moor and in a very quiet location, it’s a great place for escaping, winding down and relaxing. This elegant house offers luxury Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a beautiful, tranquil setting.
Highfield House is a recently built property sympathetically finished in local granite and red cedar, situated away from the quiet access lane, in its own grounds of over four acres and faces south and west. Many visitors are struck by the palpable silence at night and the absence of intrusive light.
We have our own personal tor in the grounds!
The house has every facility for a comfortable and relaxing visit. There is a large TV for guests use in the drawing room. Running the length of the south side, there is a wide terrace where, on warm evenings, guests may enjoy a drink and just gaze at the panoramic view.
For many years we ran a most successful Bed & Breakfast in South Warwickshire with a five diamond rating from Visit Britain, which was featured in Karen Brown’s Guides, Which? and Best Bed & Breakfasts. We now have our home in Lustleigh and are dedicated to offering the same high quality of friendliness, comfort and service.
